Carmen L. Stanislao
Carmen was born in the
rural town of Winfield, Kansas. At a very early
age she naturally developed a real love for art.
In 1978 Carmen moved to Bozeman, Montana, where she
continues her desire for the art world.
Specializing in bronze sculptures and paintings in both
watercolors and oils.
Carmen uses the
surrounding landscapes for her inspirations to create.
Her love and appreciation of nature enables her to help
the viewer see, feel and remember the excitement of the
moment. Her best tools are her eyes and hands.
This also allows her to concentrate on the quality of
each piece and gives full expression of herself; or a
special commissioned bronze or painting for someone's
special needs.
The unique blend of
embossed leather and bronze has brought special
attention to her work. Sculpting begins with a
mass of clay or wax, a lifeless shape. It is
formed, molded and scrutinized until its mass has
developed into a piece of art with meaning and flow.
The lines are clean; the message is clear; a sculpture
is made.
Carmen's very thankful for
God's gifts, this great country and it's wonderful
people that give her the opportunity to pursue her
dreams.
